I used the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no door lock OR latch! It had been ripped off. The whole bar had a white trashy vibe to it. One person then did like 3-4 laps around the parking lot, parked again, and went back inside! The other people who were revving the bikes also went back in. These same people then went to their motorcycles and fired them up and then revved them up multiple times, for no reason, while standing next to them. Other patrons who went out the back patio door however decided to immediately light up the second they walked outside and then proceeded to take multiple drags while standing right behind me on the patio. The table next to us, all of whom smoked, were nice enough to go into the designated smoking area. Besides the lack of service, other things we observed in this time led us to just leave. We waited at least 15 min, and in this time no one ever came out. She seats us outside as requested and even set up an umbrella for us over the table which was great. We go in and get ignored by most waitresses, except one. We parked and noticed a "designated smoking area" well away from the outside tables, which is nice for non smokers that also want to sit outside. This was only a few blocks away on Hwy 164. Might want to try if you love in order of priority: smoking, bikes, and no service if you are not a "regular".įull review: Spent an afternoon on the Fox River paddling and afterward we were looking for some good and different local food in the area around Big Bend near the boat launch at the park.
